Daniel J. Skiba, CPA, President/Chief Executive Officer

James R. Hardin, Sr. Vice President Engineering
Mr. Hardin has spent the past 20 years at the forefront of developments in energy efficiency. He developed the Water+ system, and the Well2Well system, BiSec Heat Exchanger plus several other energy applications in geoexchange, energy management and lighting. He works under a philosophy of increased operation efficiency so that the energy user (residential and commercial can expect to have more energy-related services available at higher quality while enjoying reduced overhead.
Prior to forming Hardin Geotech, Mr. Hardin was plant manager for ServiceMaster. He was plant manager for healthcare facilities; project and construction manager for over $70 million in renovation and expansion, worked with administration and using departments to conceptually design projects, addressed final designs with an A & E firm, managed bids, vendor selections, board of director presentations and all work through to completion, all within budget and schedule constraints; managed all aspects of facility maintenance. Mr. Hardin managed an aluminum processing plant. Mr. Hardin was project manager and senior engineer in installing geothermal systems for petrochemical plants in Brazil and later in West Africa. He also designed a geothermal system for an 800,000 square foot medical center in Owensboro, KY.
Lilli J. Cramer, Chief Marketing Officer – Chair of the Board
Mrs. Cramer has a strong background in the technical complexities and marketing to large capital projects. Prior to joining Hardin Geotechnologies, Lilli served as Junior Vice President of sales and marketing for Holley Energy, Inc., where she sold energy management projects. She is actively involved in the International Ground Source Heat Pump Association, the Geothermal Heat Pump Consortium, and the Indianapolis Chamber of Commerce.
Mrs. Cramer managed the installation of the first Water+ municipal water system in Comanche, Oklahoma, as well as managing several other geothermal projects throughout the Midwest. She is a recognized speaker for the International Ground Source Heat Pump Association, and is actively involved in the Indianapolis Chamber of Commerce, and the National Association of Women Business Owners.
Steve Hardin, Director of Operations
Mr. Hardin has a unique blend of experiences in management, customer service and technical operations spanning over 20 years. An articulate and versatile senior management leader with demonstrated achievement and experience in operations management, resource planning and allocation, with a return-on-investment focus. Mr. Hardin has extensive experience bridging the gap between operators and end users on one end, with the designers and engineers on the other end, ensuring a team approach from all fronts. Mr. Hardin is pipe-fusion certified as well as an installation certification from the International Ground Source Heat Pump Association.
JD Hardin, Regional Sales Manager
Mr. Hardin has a unique blend of corporate, educational and military experiences in management, customer service and technical operations spanning over 20 years. Mr. Hardin has extensive experience bridging the gap between operators and end users on one end, with the designers and engineers on the other end, ensuring a team approach from all fronts. Before joining Hardin Geotech, leadership positions have included Center Director, Project Manager, Training Advisor, Security Officer, Maintenance Control Supervisor and Chairman of the Board.
Robert Sparks, Senior Engineer
Mr. Sparks has been in the HVAC industry since 1976. He holds one patent for heat pump controls. Before moving into the HVAC industry, Robert was involved in well log analysis for three years in Australia on an airborne geophysics project. He has extensive design and engineering experience in hydronics, pneumatics, psychometrics, electro-mechanical and DDC control systems. He has designed HVAC systems for hospitals, petro-chemical buildings, residences, and office buildings.
Cory Gordon, Project Engineer
Cory joined the Hardin team in July, 2006, and has made contributions in system performance projections, economic model development, sales, project implementation, and research and development. From November 2006 to February 2009, Cory served as engineering and construction project manager at a large industrial electrical and mechanical upgrades project at SABIC Innovative Plastics’ (formerly GE Plastics) Burkville, AL, Lexan facility.
In this capacity, he was the lead coordinator for all engineering and construction disciplines – including civil/structural, mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation – required to implement variable speed drives on large pumping systems and intake chiller packages on compressed air systems. Cory also played an integral part in the modeling and development of Hardin’s latest contribution to HVAC efficiency, the BiSec geothermal heat exchanger and has recently taken over as product manager for further development of downhole heat exchanger technologies for Hardin.
Kevin Cleary, Director of Lighting Services
Mr. Cleary has been actively involved in the energy efficient lighting industry for over 15 years. Kevin began in the industry on the ground level and quickly started doing design work after one short year of field installations. His responsibilities have been much expanded to include management of all phases of projects from customer targeting and design through implementation and startup, including management and budgets.
